Awards

Every project won’t win an award, but I treat every project like it’s in the running. Here are are few things that have won. It’s nice to get a pat on the back every now and then.

2010 GolD Addy® Award

Mississippi Public Broadcasting
Homefront to Battlefront: Mississippi During WWII Documentary Promotional Campaign

What made it great:
Problem-solving and cohesive design. The graphics team didn’t have enough memorabilia to complete the look we wanted to promote the show, so I drove an hour to my father’s house and photographed items from my own grandfather’s collection. We used these items in promotional materials, and added a genuine “homefront” feel to the design.

2011 Silver Addy® Award

The University of Mississippi Foundation
Bernard Campaign Fundraising Brochure

What made it great:
Attention to detail and outside-the-box presentation. This piece included a custom die-cut belly band that wrapped around the cover and was printed onto a contrasting paper stock. A custom shape tab on the band reiterated elements from the inside design. The elevated presentation of the piece appealed to the University’s wealthy donors.

Also won an “Award of Excellence” from the Printing Industry of the South Graphic Awards

2023 CPRAM Grand Award

Holmes Community College
Schedule A Tour - Bulldog Card

What made it great:
This custom die-cut piece won the highest award from the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi. The bold, high contrast illustration continues to be a student favorite at recruiting events.
